After facing personal challenges, including the loss of her father in 2022, Pinkygirl took a step back from the spotlight to reflect on her future in the entertainment industry. In an interview with Kaya 959, she shared that she returned home for six months after losing her job and her dad, emphasizing the difficulty of moving on after such a significant loss. Pinkygirl also highlighted the importance of addressing mental health, stating that she took this break because "depression is a real thing."
